Chester "Chet" Lubowiecki was born on July 20, 1933 in New York to parents Leon and Kinga Lubowiecki. He was born at home at 21 N Tenth St, New Hyde Park, NY. He went to New Hyde Park Road School, followed by Sewanhaka High School.

Chester was classified as 4F by the Selective Service so he never served in the military.

Chet's lifelong career was in the upholstery business, working for Castro Convertibles in New Hyde Park, NY for much of that time. Later, he started his own upholstery business.

He died on August 13, 2020 of a lymphoma of the thyroid and soft tissue in the neck.

Doris Lautenschlager was born on January 20, 1938 to parents George L. and Agnes Lautenschlager. Doris's paternal grandfather was also named George Lautenschlager (1870-1940) and his wife (Doris's paternal grandmother) was Charlotte K Ruhl (1899-1958).

She went to Our Lady of Wisdom Academy in New York City and studied Nursing at Maryview Hospital School of Nursing. She's a former Registered Nurse (RN) at Winthrop University Hospital.

They were married on May 19, 1962 at Our Lady of Snows in Floral Park, NY. The reception was at the Polish Hall in Port Washington. Facebook
