◃  Strauss Family Reunion

The 1976 family reunion was called The Strauss Family Reunion though the invitation didn't mention it. Here's what the invitation looked like:

FAMILY REUNION SUNDAY AUGUST 15, 1976 8:00AM TILL 8:00PM HANK KOWALSKI PLAYING ALL TYPES OF MUSIC DANCING FROM 2:00 PM TILL DUSK AT LYNDBERG PARK DIX HILLS ROAD HUNTINGTON STATION, L.I. 1/4 MILE OFF JERICHO TPKE. * IN CASE OF RAIN, IT WILL BE HELD INDOORS AT THE PARK. Lyndberg Park is a private park that offers private parking, picnic tables, dancing pavillion, rest rooms, playground, and is reserved for the invited guests of the FAMILY REUNION Please come early for choice tables and for your convienience please bring folding lawn chairs.
